X-Centric Sciences (ABN 30 660 925 977), headquartered in Sydney, Australia (“X-Centric”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), is committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your agricultural data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use the xcentric.tech website, mobile applications, proprietary hardware, and the X-Centric Dashboard (collectively, the “Services”).
Note: X-Centric is a registered trademark of X-Centric Sciences.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information that identifies, relates to, describes, or could reasonably be linked to you ("Personal Information"), as well as operational data regarding your farm or business:
- Account Information: Name, email address, password tokens, and organizational details when you register for the Dashboard.
- Agronomic & Spatial Data: GPS coordinates, field boundaries (polygons), soil telemetry data (e.g., carbon, density, nutrient profiles), weather metrics, and crop yield history uploaded via our mobile app, API, or hardware instruments.
- Economic Data: Operational budgets, input costs, target reduction percentages, and financial metrics inputted into our VRA and ROI calculators.
- Device & Usage Data: IP addresses, browser types, device identifiers, and interaction data (including live telemetry logs and API request routing).
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following operational purposes:
- To Provide the Services: To process your raw telemetry data, authenticate login sessions, render satellite/hyperspectral field maps, generate Variable Rate Application (VRA) zones, and calculate sustainability metrics (e.g., CO₂e reductions).
- AI & Analytical Processing: We utilize Artificial Intelligence models to analyze your spatial, economic, and agronomic data strictly to generate actionable insights and reports for your Dashboard.
- Hardware Integrity: To monitor device health, update firmware, and ensure calibration accuracy across our distributed sensor network.
- Communication: To send you technical notices, security alerts, and customer support messages.
3. Aggregated and Anonymized Data (Research & ML)
As an AgTech company focused on environmental sustainability, we heavily rely on data to fulfill our mission. We reserve the right to aggregate and strictly anonymize your Agronomic, Spatial, and Economic Data so that it can no longer be linked to you, your hardware, or your specific business location.
Once permanently de-identified, this data is no longer considered Personal Information. We may use, share, or commercialize this Aggregated Data for any purpose, including but not limited to:
- Training machine learning and AI models for better soil, carbon, and yield predictions.
- Validating carbon sequestration models for environmental credit markets.
- Publishing peer-reviewed scientific research on regional soil health trends.
- Improving proprietary hardware calibration algorithms.
4. How We Share Your Information (Sub-Processors)
We do not sell your Personal Information to data brokers. Providing our complex geospatial and AI Services may require us to share necessary data with trusted third-party service providers (Sub-Processors):
- Infrastructure Service Providers: We may share data with vendors who assist us in operating our Services, such as secure cloud hosting platforms, AI generation services, and satellite/weather data brokers. These providers are bound by strict confidentiality and API usage obligations.
- Legal & Regulatory: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, subpoena, or if we believe such action is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of X-Centric, our users, or the public.
- Business Transfers: If X-Centric is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your Personal Information and Agronomic Data may be transferred as a business asset subject to the existing Privacy Policy.
5. Data Security
We implement commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical security measures—including secure telemetry brokers, token-based API authentication, and encrypted data transit (HTTPS)—designed to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. We encourage you to use secure networks and safeguard your credentials when accessing our Services.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, local storage, and similar tracking technologies to keep you securely logged into the dashboard, track user activity, and hold certain session preferences (such as map opacity or active interpolation models). You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies, though core features of the dashboard may become unavailable or malfunction without them.
7. Your Data Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your Personal Data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at the email provided below.
Please note that requesting deletion of your personal account does not extend to anonymized, aggregated data that has already been permanently de-identified and integrated into our machine learning or research models as outlined in Section 3.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, hardware sensors, or AI integrations. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Modified" date at the top.
